Return Policy

Returned Goods	This policy applies to Mallinckrodt Baker, Inc. (MBI) Microelectronic Materials products only.
General Requirements	Sales of all J.T.Baker brand Microelectronic Material products are considered final. Only products which do not meet specifications, those shipped in error, or those recalled by MBI will be accepted for full credit, providing returns are made within thirty (30) days of notification. MBI may, at its discretion, authorize the return for restocking of certain products upon request of a customer/distributor. The following will not be accepted for return: Made-to-order or custom products Products with a shelf life of <12 months Less than full-case quantities Return requests with a total value less than $100 Discontinued items
Authorization for Return	Before a return is deemed authorized, a written returned goods authorization must be received from the MBI Customer Service Department. Return authorization is void if material is not received by MBI within 90 days. Any material that has not been authorized for return in writing will be returned to the customer/distributor at their expense.
Returns for Restocking	1. Only products which are listed in the current J.T.Baker Microelectronic Materials Product Price List will be considered for restocking. Products which are "made-to-order" or have been provided under terms indicating that they are non-returnable will not be considered for restocking. 2. To be acceptable for consideration by MBI as a return for restocking, the product must be a currently listed product and shipped to MBI in accordance with the current D.O.T. / U.N. regulations and practices. Non-compliant shipments will not qualify for credit. Shipping charges are the customer's/distributor's responsibility. 3. Stock must be received by MBI in "resaleable condition." MBI will provide a credit memo for returns meeting conditions in the Returned Goods Policy. No other form of reimbursement will be made. Value will be calculated at the original invoice price less the following restocking charge: Age 0 - 12 months 13 - 24 months 25 or more months Restocking Charge 25% 50% No return or credit 4. MBI defines "resalable condition" as having been shipped to the customer/distributor within the preceding twenty-four (24) months and returned in condition which will allow a return to stock without refurbishing, relabeling or further handling (suitable product, clean package, unmarked label). 5. Unauthorized returns and returned products determined by MBI. Quality Assurance to be unsaleable as received will be returned to the customer/distributor freight collect unless MBI is instructed to dispose of material for customer's/distributor's account. The customer/distributor will be debited at the cost for such disposal with a minimum charge of one hundred ($100) dollars. Outgoing and incoming freight charges are the customer's/distributor's responsibility.
